About Us

Dan

I acquired my qualification at level 2 and 3 through CYQ almost 20 years ago and since gone on to various other courses in Strength and Conditioning, Structural Balance, Calisthenics and Kettlebell training. I have a passion for understanding how the body moves and find it fascinating how each individual expresses themselves physically.

I really enjoy my time in the gym and find it a real escape. It is a chance to improve my self physically and mentally, and always strive to help my clients find a similar sense of fulfilment and accomplishment in their own endeavours. Its a great opportunity to not only learn to control your own body but also ones mind as exercise can have such a great effect on confidence and self esteem.

I qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer through Active IQ in (2018) and hold a BSc in Health Sciences (2024). Alongside personal training, I have a clinical background working within the NHS in Cardiology, giving me a strong understanding of health, wellbeing and the importance of movement.

During my studies, I competed in weightlifting, where I developed a real appreciation for technique, discipline and the satisfaction of getting stronger. I bring this experience into my coaching, encouraging clients to take pride in how they move and build confidence in what their bodies can achieve.

In 2025, I welcomed my daughter into the world, my biggest physical challenge yet! Becoming a mum has given me a whole new appreciation for female body, as well as the patience needed to recover and rebuild strength.

My approach to personal training is about much more than just lifting weights. I want my clients to feel strong, move well and enjoy what their bodies are capable of, building strength and confidence that carries over into everyday life.
